Premarital and Marital Coaching

With so many marriages ending in divorce, it’s essential that couples know what they are getting into before saying those two simple words, “I do”. Although there is no silver bullet, research has shown couples who participate in premarital counseling are 30% more likely to stay together. We believe that couples should start off “right” with a biblical foundation, understanding what God designed and desires out of a healthy, loving relationship. God’s Word has the solution for every issue, problem, or dilemma that couples face. Our responsibility is to engage Him first. His Word says in Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

In addition to the biblical foundation, we also use a personalized online inventory to help couples prepare for marriage. As a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator, this inventory enables us to guide couples into a meaningful dialogue about their strengths and potential blind spots. The insights gained from the inventory will help couples reach a more informed and secure decision before walking down the aisle. This assessment has been proven to enhance relationships and deepen understand of one another. Couples will meet with us for 4 to 5 sessions. Each session will last approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.

For couples that are already married, counseling will help you get through the rough spots. Regardless of how long you’ve been married, there is always something new to learn about your spouse. Since marriages constantly change, and evolve over time, its imperative that you are given the tools to keep up with those changes.
